Cherry MX2A Unlubed Browns

These MX2A Browns are "unlubed" and a custom order from Cherry in Germany for Mechstock. The spring base and bottom housing are both dry and free from factory lubrication. 

This is a great option for those that prefer applying their own lubrication and aftermarket springs. 

These 2025 Cherry MX2A Brown switches use updated tooling and are different to MX2A Browns produced in 2024.

Although these are advertised as dry, some factory lubrication is still applied to the leaf because it significantly improves the sound and feel of the switch.

For the best typing experience, spring swap these to a spring weight of your preference.

It is recommended to "break-in" these switches prior to modification and lubrication.
