Keygeek Y2X

Keygeek Y2X is a factory-lubed linear switch from MZ Studio, tuned for exceptionally smooth travel and a pure, deeply thocky sound profile.

The transparent PA12 top and bottom housings let the switch's concentrated, clean sound character shine through while maintaining a smooth keypress. Its upgraded U8 UPE stem material builds on U5 to deliver a more concentrated, deeper and thockier sound, improved rebound, and better unwanted-noise control at bottom-out.

The Keygeek Y2X is an MZ Studio linear switch positioned as an update to the earlier Y2. The new version is described as slightly smoother, with a deeper and more concentrated bottom-out sound.

The construction uses transparent PA12 for both the top and bottom housings, paired with an upgraded U8 stem. The  Y2X's U8 material builds on the earlier U5 stem concept with the goal of improving rebound, concentrating the sound profile and controlling unwanted noise at bottom-out.

Removing switches may be difficult as Keygeek switches seem slightly larger and fit tighter in plates. These switches are reportedly difficult to remove from certain plates such as FR4. Please purchase with this in mind.
