Cherry MX Nixe

These MX-Black Clear Top switches were re-introduced to the community by Cherry in late 2022. The switches feature a translucent top housing and modern Hyperglide tooling to give keyboard enthusiasts a slightly different MX Linear switch. 

Although both are made from Nylon, compared to Cherry MX Blacks, the Cherry MX Nixie has a more muted sound profile.

These are not MX2A switches and are an older MX1A-61NW batch which use Hyperglide tooling. In terms of smoothness, this batch is very good and feel as nice as MX2A switches. 

To complete your build, spring swap these to a lighter spring for the best typing experience. It is recommended to "break-in" these switches prior to modification and lubrication.
